JEFF VOVES

01 / INVENTION + PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

I DIDN'T JUST BUILD THE BRAND.
I INVENTED THE PRODUCT

PATENTED INNOVATION
U.S. PATENT NO. 12,551,767

I saw a problem in hockey training that needed a better solution. So I designed one. From initial sketches and mechanical prototypes to engineering, patenting, manufacturing, and brand development, I took Hyperstrike from an idea to a real product.

02 / THE PROBLEM

THE TARGET SHOULDN’T STOP THE TRAINING

Traditional hockey targets were either stationary or required players to stop and reset them. I saw an opportunity to create something different—a target that could take a shot, retract automatically, and reset itself without interrupting the training session.

03 / DEVELOPMENT + PROTOTYPING

FROM IDEA TO MECHANISM

An idea is only the beginning. I took Hyperstrike from rough sketches to working prototypes, designing, fabricating, testing, and refining the mechanical system along the way.

Each iteration brought new challenges and better solutions, ultimately creating a product engineered to withstand real hockey training.

04 / ENGINEERING + VALIDATION

ENGINEERED. TESTED. PATENTED

PROTOTYPE 001

The first prototype wasn't built to look pretty. It was built to prove an idea could work.

Through hands-on fabrication, mechanical problem-solving and repeated testing, I developed and refined a system capable of automatically resetting targets after impact.

What started as a rough mechanical concept evolved into a functional invention—and ultimately a patented hockey training system.

05 / BRAND DEVELOPMENT + CREATIVE DIRECTION

THE INVENTION BECAME A BRAND

BUILDING MORE THAN A PRODUCT.

Inventing the system was only half the challenge. The next step was turning that invention into something people could recognize, understand and believe in.

I took the same concept to execution approach into naming, brand identity, product design, packaging, photography, advertising and digital experiences.

Every element was built around one purpose: transforming a mechanical innovation into a complete brand with its own identity, personality and presence in the hockey world.

06 / THE FINISHED PRODUCT

FROM CONCEPT
TO REALITY.

ONE IDEA. EVERY DISCIPLINE.

What began as an idea became a patented product, a complete brand, and a real-world solution.

I led the process from the first sketch through engineering, prototyping, manufacturing, brand development, and creative execution.

Hyperstrike represents what happens when invention, design, and storytelling come together, not as separate disciplines, but as one continuous process.
